Father,

I have to be honest: suffering is hard for me, and I often want to jump off Your wheel. But, today, I choose to embrace a new perspective—that Your crushing has value and should be viewed as a gift. Help me to grow to know You better, like Job did. Give me courage to embrace these truths James and Peter taught. Thank You, Father, for Your strong but tender hands. Thank You for shaping me through pain and suffering. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
